ACTRESS/ACTIVIST DANNEEL ACKLES AND LIMBO JEWELRY CREATE A COLLECTION FOR AN IMPORTANT CAUSE

May 03, 2019

Introducing: The Link Collection - a capsule jewelry collection designed by Actress/Activist, Danneel Ackles and Limbo Jewelry Founder/Designer, Edson Enriquez. Staying true to Limbo’s style, each piece will be carefully handcrafted in their South Austin studio featuring modern, everyday designs with clean lines. The Link Collection’s aesthetic will reflect some of Limbo’s most iconic pieces while pulling unique elements from Ackles’ fashion forward style. Every sale of this collection online and in stores will support Austin based non-profit, Creative Action

Ackles, best known for her starring roles in a number of films and hit tv shows like One Tree Hill and Supernatural - has always had a passion for creative projects, good design, fashion, and philanthropy. In fact her and husband, Jensen Ackles’ Austin home was just featured in Architectural Digest. This jewelry collection is a thoughtful combination of many of her passions and will be her first product design collaboration in a retail setting. “My partnership with Limbo couldn’t have been a better fit,” Ackles explains. “The creative energy, expertise, and kindness that Limbo’s team brings to the table is refreshing and so authentically Austin. I can’t wait to share this collection!”

Enriquez and Ackles wanted to design a collection that was versatile at an attainable price point, with a portion of every sale going directly to Creative Action. “With our extensive backgrounds in the arts, we thought is was crucial to support an organization that understands the impact of fostering creative expression. In fact over the past 10 years we as a business have supported over 100 local artists through our 4 retail stores,” Enriquez states. Creative Action was chosen as the perfect fit for this partnership as it an arts-based youth development non-profit organization that provides creative learning programs for Central Texas youth.

The Link Collection launch party will be held in Austin on June 13th from 6-8 pm and is open to the public.
